Question Run php script from a ruby on rails application

Hello dear community, so I need to run a php script located in the plesk server, everytime I hit a specific button on my rails application. I guess I have to put the command to run the script in my controller, but I don't know what i should exactly put in the action and the way it has to be on it to find the script in the server. Thanks in advance.
