  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Scheduled task doesn't run batch file

DanTeixeira

New Pleskian
Hi,

I've created a couple of batch files (one as a test after the first didn't work) and neither are being ran as a scheduled task by Plesk. If I run them manually (browsing to the folder and double-clicking) they both work fine.

Event Viewer reports Unable to create file 'C:\inetpub\vhosts\xxxxxx\xxxxxx': (5) Access is denied.
User: SYSTEM

That path is the location of the batch files, where the Plesk user under which the scheduled tasks run (and SYSTEM) has full control. Tried setting up the task several ways, for example:

Path to executable -> path to batch file or c:\windows\syswow64\cmd.exe or even c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe
Arguments -> empty or path to batch file

Thanks in advance for the help.
