• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Security certificate issues

kickle-pickle

New Pleskian
Please forgive my noob-ness.

This is my first time trying to get a site online. I keep getting a privacy error.

I have gone into the SSL certificates and did the self-signing option. I went into the hosting settings and selected the certificate from the dropdown. I then clicked apply and ok. But when I go to the web address it is still not secure?

Please save my hair and break down what I am missing, pretty please?

Hello,

Please follow the below steps :

Tools & Settings -> SSL Certificates -> Add

Fill in the required preferences and click the button Self-Signed .

A new self-signed SSL certificate will be created in the server certificate repository:

After you have created or uploaded a new certificate into Plesk , you should set it for every IP you need.

This can be done at Server -> IP Addresses -> "Choose IP" by selecting the required certificate in the "SSL Certificate" drop-down menu.

Thanks,
