  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Separate webroot for wildcard subdomain and www

JoeShmoe

New Pleskian
I'm looking for a way to use a different webroot for my www.domain.com and a different one for all the other subdomains.
I created domain.com, then created a wildcard subdomain for that domain, pointing to a different webroot.
The problem is that the wildcard subdomain hijacks the www subdomain as well.
domain.com is working correctly, but www.domain.com uses the wildcard subdomain's config.
I assume the problem is the order in which Apache reads the config files.

How can I solve this?
Using Plesk Obsidian 18.0.30 and Ubuntu 18

I guess there's currently no solution then.
So I would like request that subdomain configs are loaded before wildcard subdomain config.

A shoots, you are right. I could swear I had done the same before. I have now tested it on Obsidian and can see that there is an issue with that type of configuration.

I will go ahead and remove my posts here regarding the issue, so that others are not mislead by them.
