  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Server Crash - Recovery Question

My server has crashed several times now - When the server comes back online, here are some of the problem I have to manually correct:
1. In IIS, all sites are set to stopped - have to manually start each site
2. In MailEnable, all domains are set to disabled and server rejects all incoming email - have to manually enable each site.
3. In Computer Management, all plesk users are disabled, need to manually re-enable them
4. FTP is broken, user get "home directory inaccessible." message. Not sure how to fix this.

Does this happen to anyone else? Is there an easier way to correct this? How do I tell why the server is crashing in the first place? I do not see anything notworthy in the logs prior to the crash and I have not been able to establish a pattern. This is a very frustrating problem.

This is on: psa v8.3.0.1_build20071225.14 os_Windows 2003/2008

Any ideas anyone?

you see different independent services get disabled - iis, mail
sounds like you get domains/clients ot license expire in Plesk
