• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,
Would you please help me with this issue?
i am having plesk 12.5 and windows server 2008 standard sp1.
when i try to enter my website as http://mydomain.com/default.aspx or https://localhost/default.aspx
or http://ip address of my domain/ default.aspx i get the following error:

Server Error in '/' Application.
The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /default.aspx

Also, this problem occurred when previewing my website using plesk preview but not on the entire website just on some tabs of my website.
So, what could cause the problem like this?

My website is asp and dotnetnuke

Hello,

Did you checked the error logs through event viewer of the server. Browse the website locally on the server and then check for the logs in event viewer and you should get the exact reasons why the issue occurs.

Also since its a DotNetNuke make sure you have proper permissions configured with virtual directory configuration and its path. You can change the settings through Plesk for that particular website.
