  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

After upgrading to version 8.6.0.5, I can no longer set a default domain (Server ---> IP addresses) and view it via the IP-number before the DNS has changed. When I now type in the main IP-number in a web browser, I end up on the default plesk page. I had no problem with this when I was using version 8.3.0.1. Has anyone else had this problem? Possible solution? All answers are most appreciated.

Hi,

You can manually add a blank hostheader for the site in IIS manually to access it using IP.
