  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Issue Short link problem (SSL?)

pleski

New Pleskian
Hi there,

I am an absolute beginner in Plesk and would like to familiarize myself with it.

Certain links have not worked for me for a few days.

Instead of always writing links longer like this:

This also worked without problems:

Reason: My shop system (Shopware) has probably integrated it as a function.

But now it suddenly doesn't work anymore. But it's unlikely that it's the shopsystem, because if I restore a backup of Plesk (not Shopware) in Plesk, everything works again. Only when I then want to create or update an SSL certificate (lets encrypt) does the thing with the links described above suddenly no longer work.

How do you think I should start to figure out the problem?

With kind regards,
pleski

RewriteOptions InheritBefore

I have now found out that with a Plesk update in our code in the plesk config a line was added:

RewriteOptions InheritBefore

If I delete this line, then everything works as it should.

I don't understand the InhertiBefore function correctly.

1. Can someone explain to me what exactly this function does?
2. Why was this line just added with the Plesk update?

wkr,
pleski
