• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Sitejet 1.1.1-2489 release notes indicate and "activatable" ecommerce option. Could someone please provide details as I'm unable to find further documentation.

Thank you, got it.
It's true that there is a new component in Sitejet, but the Sitjet team seems to make us all curious about how to this will work. As I have heard today, they plan to announce next week how to activate and use this new feature.

Thanks Peter. We'll wait and see what gets announced. Do you know where we'd be able to view that announcement when its made?

From that article:

Simply access your Sitejet Builder website in Plesk and click the Commerce item in the Sitejet Builder menu.

Has anyone been able to find the "Commerce Items" in the Sitejet Builder menu? If so, where?

Thanks.

Still having trouble finding this option using the documentation provided at:

Specifically, can not find "Commerce item" or "Create Shop" as described below when editing an existing SiteJet site in Plesk.

Simply access your Sitejet Builder website in Plesk and click the Commerce item in the Sitejet Builder menu. Click Create Shop and follow the instructions; fill in your contact and payment information, and you’re all set — you can build your online empire immediately.

The described options can't be found. Have some customers that may want to use this, but It's hard for them to demo it if they can't find it.

As far as I can tell this is still being rolled out, which is done in different phases. But let me see if I can some more info for you on this.

It currently available to selected partners only. Are you using a Plesk license from a reseller or a license bought from Plesk directly?

I am still looking into this. Will let you know when I know more, that might be a couple of days.

Good news! You can enable the SiteJet commerce option by adding the following option the servers panel.ini file.
Code:
[ext-plesk-sitejet]
commerceEnabled = true
