Hello to all!
I have come across this issue and wanted to know if anyone else has this issue or how to get around it.....
I setup a website and email accounts for a customer. let's say it is www.xyz.com - it is hosted on an ISP called Cogeco
If I add the info@xyz.com in Outlook, and am accessing the internet through the ISP - Cogeco, everything works fine.
If I go to the customers site, with the same laptop, that I know works when it is in the ISP - Cogeco, and they have ISP - Bell Canada, they cannot send email.
They tell me that port 25 for smtp is blocked between the two ISP's
Has anyone else heard of this or if they have, found a way around it without using their SMTP settings?
Brian
