  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SMTP logs and spam blocking with DNSBL

phlampe

New Pleskian
Hello All !

I just activated spam blocking using DNSBL checks with zen.spamhaus.org (that's in Server -> Mail), and I have seen a dramatic decrease in the spam I get (I like that :) )

But ... since the check is done during the initial smtp session, and that qmail doesn't log much at that state of the exchange, I am sort of blind about what's going on : I would like to have a log of what's rejected (or not), mainly to be sure that legitimate mail doesn't get lost because of dynamic IP policy listing.

Is there a way of doing this simply (no qmail patching and recompiling), either in Plesk or by changing some qmail option ?

Thanks for your help,
Paul-Henri

Thanks a lot for the information, it looks very promising :)

Do you have English versions of the pages describing your plugin on the haggybear.de site ?

Best regards,
Paul-Henri

It has been discussed here. Haggy has also promised an English version...
