  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

spamassassin-3.3.0 won't work with plesk

105547111

Silver Pleskian
Fedora 11 just updated to spamassassin 3.3.0

It won't work with training with plesk. Everytime it shows 0 messages and 0 learned, 0 marked as spam, etc, etc

Roll back to 3.2.5 and it immediately works.

Spamassassin is indeed marking and working, just the psa-spamassassin plugin needs to be updated to work.

Since 3.3.0 is now final (F11 had rc1 and I assumed it was a bug) can we get a patch please as I want to run a current spamassassin, but be able to mark messages.

Thanks!

I have submitted corresponding request to developers regarding your question. I hope it will be implemented soon. I will update this thread with results as soon as I receive it from developers.

Hi IgorG,

Just asking if you heard anything on supporting the latest spamassassin in plesk. It now has new rules and filters, but without the psa plugin working you can't update as there is no way of marking spam.

Thanks!

As far as I see in our internal resources spamassassin 3.3.0 support should be implemented to 9.5.0 version. I have no any ETA when it will be released, but should be soon :)

I find this a very non-reply.

Plesk 8.6.0 is still a supported version, so support it.

And for all i care, plesk 9 doesnt exist. What you call plesk 9 is in my view parallels 1.0 or something like that.

- different logic
- different look & feel
- different programmes (lighthttpd instead of apache)
- etc...

plesk 9 is as much plesk as windows vista is windows xp 2.0
