• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SpamAssassin Screwed Up

After upgrading from 8 to 8.1 all mailboxes that previously had SpamAssassin configured no longer have any active filtering.

If you navigate to a mail account, select SpamAssassin and then disable then enable, heh presto it works again.

It's going to be very hard work indeed doing that for all the mail accounts on the server. Anyone know of a fix or a quick way to get Plesk 8.1 to sort itself out?

Hello,

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam
or
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk -v

Should restore the .qmail files and spam assassin would work again.

Thanks blank_page. But in fact we had so many customers calling us up to say their spam filter has stopped that we had to go through every mail box one by one disabling then re-enabling SA!

i ran what blank page put... after it was done i sent another message to my self from an outside mail account and then looked in the header and there is still no record of spamassassin doing any scoring or anthing
