  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question spontaneous server restart after upgrading plesk to 17.8.11

Tjerk Visser

New Pleskian
Hi all,
Yesterday i upgraded plesk to 17.8.11 and al was working fine. Did some tunning according to the suggestions in advisor. Great stuff.
However in 16 hours i already had 2 spontaneous server reboots. I have watchdog running witch made me aware of these reboots.

Anyone a suggestion or experiencing the same issue?

Thanks in advance
Regards
Tjerk

A server reboot is a sign for issues with the operating system. Did you do any upgrades on the OS, too?

Hi peter,
Thanks for the reply. I only upgraded plesk.
I did nothing with OS

I will wait and see how often this is going to occurs.

Regards Tjerk
