  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SQL Express not upgraded

Hi,

I had a windows server with plesk 7.6 and i upgraded it to plesk 8.2 but after upgrade i noticed that both MSDE and SQL Express are in this server but i can not connect to SQLExpress and when i use "Select @@Version" to find out SQL Server version i get 8 and when i check component managenent i get Version 9 which is correct and how can i connect to version 9 of SQL?

yes

You know i refreshed more than 1000 times but still i see SQL Server 9 (2005) on component management but when i try Select @@Version i see SQL Server 2000 MSDE, Can i have both MSDE and SQL Server Express?
How can i use SQL SErver Express as Default?
