• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SSL certificate problem

nevakee

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

Since the update to 12.x, it will used always the default ssl certificate, when i create a customer.
In the version 11.x, it used always the certificate of the IP and not the default certificate.

For multiple IPs, certificates and resellers, this method is bullshit!

Under "Home> Tools & Settings> SSL Certificates" are total 7 certificates installed!
If I edit a customer, I can only select the standard certificate or none. WHY???

OS: Debian 6.0.9
Plesk version: 12.0.18 Update #8

It happens because "default certificate" value is set on domain creation by default.
If you change "default certificate" to "not selected" on domain hosting settings you'll get behavior compatible with plesk 11.x - certificate assigned to IP will be used.

I've submitted report to development team to use "not selected" value on domain creation to save behavior like previous Plesk versions have.
Thanks for reporting.

Are there any news?

It's very annoying to change every time the certificate, if a customer is created!
