  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved SSL Incompatible pair of private key / certificate.

Roofi

New Pleskian
Hello,
I have quite a big problem with my new SSL certificate which is for domain and subdomains.

I'm trying to upload my cert into the system and I always get the info
"Incompatible pair of private key / certificate."

I'm trying to generate new CSR code but it doesn't help. I think maybe it's connected with fact that plesk doesn't support SHA 2 certificates?

Do you have any suggestions how can I solve this problem?

I kindly ask for your help

Hi Roofi,

first...
I think maybe it's connected with fact that plesk doesn't support SHA 2 certificates?
Could you pls. name in detail WHERE you read that, or who informed you with this "fact" ?

Generation of Certificate Signing Request with SHA256 (SHA-2) algorithm is implemented in Plesk 12.5 by default.

Could you pls. describe, HOW the new certificate has been created? Or who provided you with the new certificate an key?

You are able to check for yourself, if a certificate and the depending key matches:

https://www.sslshopper.com/certificate-key-matcher.html ( external link, pls. inform me, if the link goes dead, so I can provide another working link )

I've solved the problem.

It occured to be SSL certificate issue - my provider made a mistake.

Thanks anyway!
