• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved SSL SANs Problem

Joey Waltons

New Pleskian
Hey guys i am having a problem with Plesk applying my SSL Certificates to my websites. I have 5 Domains that i have added to my GoDaddy SSL which allows me up to 5 domains. I have added the CSR, Private Key and the CRT to Plesk and that has accepted it when i add the SSL on the drop down of the domain under 'hosting settings' it doesn't seem to do anything. My main domain Eat Drink Stay works but my others are still not secure here are the links

https://commerce-industry.co.uk

I have attached an image of the hosting settings and the godaddy page for the SSL

Thanks guys
(also these websites use wordpress)

Hi Joey Waltons,

you seem to miss something here:

DNS-Name=www.eatdrinkstay.co
DNS-Name=eatdrinkstay.co
DNS-Name=www.theperfectweddingonline.co.uk
DNS-Name=www.commerce-industry.co.uk
DNS-Name=www.lincolnshireinfocus.co.uk
DNS-Name=www.foodanddrinknetwork-uk.co.uk

As you can see, the certificate doesn't include all of your domains with/without "www.", but you configured in your hostings settings "None" - so both possible URLs will be available, without a 301 - redirect. If you now open "https:// commerce-industry .co.uk", you will ceratinly experience described issues for a NON-valid certificate, while if you open "https:// www. commerce-industry .co.uk", your certificate will be valid. ;)

Hi Joey Waltons,

if you desire help for NON-Plesk - related issues, pls. open a thread at: => Home > Forum > General Discussion > Open Topics

( pls. open ONE thread for each issue... you should never mix threads, because forum users might find it confusing/irritating to find content over search engines and realize, that the thread title and the initial post of a thread may not fit with the answers in the very same thread! ;) )
