statistics not working

Hi,

When we click on Plesk >> Domains > domain > Web Stats, We are getting the default place holder for statistics.

This is the placeholder for Web statistics. If you see this page that means that statistics service has not run yet on your server. Statistics service is typically set to run once every 24 hours. If you do not see a change to this page in the next 24 hours contact your server administrator for assistance.

We tried to update statistics for this domain from backend, using stastics.exe, but the issue is still there. It is there for all the newly created domains . For these domains disk usage and bandwidth usage is always shown as "0".

Hi,

Have you checked OfflineLockStatus and LastHttpStatisticsRun in registry for these domains? If statistics calculation was locked once for the domain, it won't be recalculated until you change the values in registry. More info in this article:

i have many domains
with offlinelockstatus to be reset.

This value claims that calculation of HTTP traffic on a domain is locked by statistics. If this value is zero, then domain is not locked and ready for new statistics updating. Otherwise, it is set to process ID that has locked the domain and statistics skips updating this domain.

Statistics last updated date on all the domains are of 2008. We changed the value of OfflineLockStatus to '0' for one domain by regedit and updated statistics. Then also it didn't change.

In event viewer, there are different errors about statistics.exe, like,

1. Unexpected parameter --process-domains-mask. Possible parameters .....

2. Unexpected parameter <domain name>. Possible parameters is: .....

3. Unexpected parameter -help. Possible parameters is:....
etc....
