  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Stop postfix until required

New Pleskian
Hi,

Sorry if it has already been asked, but I did not find it.

We have one of our server where we have sites but due to security/spam issues we don't want postfix to be there on that machine. So, when I stop the postfix service it is started again after sometime. Can you let me klnow how can I stop the postfix until I need it for some reason.

Regards,
Farmi

It is not good idea to stop MTA completely in Plesk. Many Plesk and OS functionality depends on it. I think that precise firewalling and fail2banning would be better solution.
