  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Strange folders in home folder

igork1

Basic Pleskian
I see bin, usr, var, lib, lib64... folders in home folder of webspace.

"Access to the server over SSH" is set to "Forbidden" (by default). NOT "/bin/bash (chrooted)" for this webspace.

I created a new test webspace for subdomain. As soon as I add a cron job to run a PHP script (with PHP 7.3.14), Plesk creates these strange folders in home folder.

Why it happens and should I worry about this? I have another VPS with Plesk 17.x. and with cron job and these folders don't appear.

Plesk Obsidian 18.0.3 Update 3. Debian 9.11

I hope to get a solution.

Plesk 17.x with added cron job doesn't create any system folders in home folder.
Why Plesk 18.x creates these system folders when any cron job is added?

I have a new VPS.
