  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Subdomain folder structure

Slavik

Basic Pleskian
So after giving up on plesk 10 sb, I re-imaged the server with plesk 10 panel and it works one hell of a lot better.

The one thing I have noticed that confused me.

When creating subdomains it seems to place the normal http folder in

/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/SUBDOMAINNAME

which serves as the usual httpdocs folder

opposed to the usual

/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/subdomains/SUBDOMAINNAME/httpdocs

Is this as intended? And in which case what point does the subdomains folder now serve?

Thanks

Please read the Plesk10 manual thats part of the new plesk10 logic. you can point a subdomain to a directory of your choice

Where abouts in the manuals will I find that? I have found information onc reating subdomains but nothing about the directory structure.
