  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

submission port 587 failed to work after switching mailservers

zeroday

Basic Pleskian
I have a complete fresh new plesk 11.xx version
I had postfix, made the mistake to go to qmail and than went back to postfix.
now my mail can only be sent when using port 25 and not 587

Even when I enable / disable / enable the submission part in the webfront, only port 25 is working.

The docs state that submission is working for port 587 out of the box for version 11, but after switching mailserver it doesn't. can someone confirm?

As I am in a migration process from 1 server to another I totally re-installed the server again, but I have to import around 100GB of server data, before I do that I want to be sure that port 587 is working properly.

How can I test that it will accept mail authenticated on port 587 and not 25?
