Question switch off courier-pop3d ?

Hello,

can i switch off the courier-pop3d service ? i have at the mail accounts only imap.
and mail forward ?

In file /etc/courier-imap/pop3d change

POP3DSTART=YES

to

POP3DSTART=NO

and restart courier.

thanks, and is the other imap mails service
dependent from the courier?

IMAP service will work, but POP3 will be stopped.
Also you an just go to Tools&Settings->Services Manager and stop courier pop3 service there.
