• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Templates - Site Builder 3

We are looking to create our own templates in Site Builder 3, does anyone know if that is possible? If it is, can you please advice us on the steps to take. Thanks in advance.

Template is a web page design created according to a certain standard and converted into the SiteBuilder format. This format is applicable to SiteBuilder 3.2 for Windows and SiteBuilder 3.0 for Unix.
By default, SiteBuilder is shipped with a certain number of templates. If you want to increase the list of available templates, you can create your own ones and import them to SiteBuilder. This document provides detailed description, along with examples, of the process of creating new templates and transporting them to SiteBuilder:

Dmitry, thank you for getting back to me. I have checked it out it looks good. I will give it a go.

Dmitry,

The link you provided does not explain how to install and activate templates on a Linux server?

Does an rpm package have to be made or can templates be installed manually?

I also just created this thread about a secondary problem I've been having, but it explains pretty well the steps I took to get a new template installed.

As you can read, there's a problem somewhere, because it's not working the way it should, but regardless, I think the majority of the steps are sound.

(plus, the problem may be something completely unrelated... we'll just have to see how the thread develops)
