Resolved thelounge, reverse proxy

Hi. I'm trying to set up thelounge, a web irc client on my server. i have it running and i can connect to mydomainort to see the interface. i now wanna proxy it so it supports https etc.. what im tryin to do is the following on the nginx additional directives ont he vhost chat.mydomain.tld. but it doesnt seem to wanna work:

    proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:9000/;
    proxy_http_version 1.1;
    proxy_set_header Connection "upgrade";
    proxy_set_header Upgrade $http_upgrade;
    proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $remote_addr;

can someone help me and tell me, what i should set location to or how i could set these reverse proxy thins? it says / is already used or something. Thank you!!!

It says:
Invalid nginx configuration: nginx: [emerg] duplicate location "/" in /var/www/vhosts/system/chat.freakyness.de/conf/vhost_nginx.conf:1 nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed

well ive done it usin their apache vhost config, replacing /irc/ by / and disabling php etc. for that subdomain. thanks
