  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

.TMP Files in PrivateTemp Directory

On our server we see a lot of .TMP files in the Plesk directory. Especially the 11 .TMP files in the PrivateTemp directory caught our attention since they consumed almost 2 GB of space.

Can I delete these .TMP files without impacting the functionality:
a) In the PrivateTemp folder?
b) Anywhere else in the Plesk Directory tree?

Thanks.

Did you ever find an answer to this? if you deleted the files, did you see anything that impacted performance or caused issues from the deletion?

Hello, I'm also searching an answer for this question.

Is it ok to delete the files in the folder PrivateTemp? Does the system need a reboot or restart of the services? Are there any riscs about deleting these files?

Kind regards
