• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Traffic count?

How is the traffic counted? I have made a test domain, set traffic to 50 megs, uploaded 150 megs through FTP, and visited the site a couple of times, but the traffic is at this time no larger then 26 megs. I guess thats only web traffic?

Hey Mvdrie,

The traffic recording is not realtime. It is updated once per day.

Note that you can have it updated more often, by running statistics.exe more often. You can do that by setting up additional scheduled jobs in Plesk. We have ours running every 3 hours.

With 200 plus domains we have one server that we work with updating every 1/2 hour. :)

Larry, have you set up 48 schedule jobs to do that, or have you used another trick?

Two. One runs at 30 after the hour the other runs at 00 on the hour.

The hour day and week are all *
