  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
Hello,
I try to allocate more opcache memory for php-fpm 5.6.15, but currently I cannot give more than 300 MB. Is there any restrication because if I change the memeory setting to 301 MB the webserver service is not starting after saving the php.ini.

Current setting:
opcache.memory_consumption=300

Can anyone help with this issue?

Many thanks in advance

Technically, there is no limit.

Theoretically, it is not adviceable to exceed the default (64MB) with a large amount: try 128MB or 192MB.

Practically, opcache.memory_consumption=300 only makes sense if other relevant variables are set accordingly.

In summary, I can keep it short: use a lower value.

To satisfy your curiosity: have a look at the maximum amount of memory that is assigned to the application (see PHP settings on the domain), I bet it is 300MB or lower.

Regards.....
