  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue "Unable to connect to the server" using Plesk Mobile on iOS

BardiaZ

New Pleskian
Hi everyone,

I keep getting "Unable to connect to the server" message when I try to log into my main account using Plesk Mobile on iOS.
Please see screenshot.

I enter my IP address (which I access Plesk from) into host section, my username (which is set as root) in the username section and my password.

I also have the "Plesk Mobile Center" extension installed on my server. (See second screenshot)

But nothing seems to work.
How can I fix this?

Any help is appreciated.

Can you login to your Plesk with iOS Safari browser and the same IP address of Plesk server?

Check that you allow access to local machine - it was turned off on my server and I could not connect.
Tools & Settings > Security > IP Access Restriction Management
add 127.0.0.1/255.255.255.255

I did this and access was restored!

Hey, are you trying it from your mobile device or computer? Check if you have accidentally enabled data usage restriction in your data because that also can be a problem.
