• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

We are using VS with Windows 2008 WEB Server and MailEnable Professional Version 3.6. We have even changed the DNS settings but our emails are still being rejected by major ISPs such as Hotmail, Yahoo, eBay and Paypal. We have a hint that we might have missed out on setting PTR. But we don't know how to do this. Here is the diagnostic report from Mail Enable Diagnostic utility:

Message:

MailEnable: Message delivery has been delayed.

Message is waiting at ethru.com.br for delivery to mx1.mail.eu.yahoo.com.

The message will be retried for another 20 hours.

Reason: Mail Server for yahoo.co.uk could not be contacted at this time. MailEnable will keep trying to deliver this message and will notify you of any progress.

Any idea of what is going on? Any help, tips and suggestions would help

it can be caused when RDNS is not set for the IP used by the mailserver to sent mails. Ask your NOC to set reverse dns for your mailserver IP address
