• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

undefined function get_failure_redirect_url() after applying MU#30

omcnick

New Pleskian
I can no longer log into Plesk (9.5.4) after applying MU#30. Plesk starts, but I cannot connect to port 8880 to log in. The error log says:

(mod_fastcgi.c.2582) FastCGI-stderr: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_failure_redirect_url() in /opt/psa/admin/auto_prepend/auth.php3 on line 179

It looks like part of the microupdate may have failed to install. I have tried
Code:
autoinstaller --select-release-current --reinstall-patch --install-component base
which runs, but neither returns errors nor fixes the problem.

Plesk is running on Ubuntu 8.04LTS* and all OS packages are up-to-date. Any ideas on how to fix this?

*I know both the OS and Plesk versions are ancient. I'm planning on updating both soon, but would like Plesk to be stable first.

yep, something's wrong with that #MU, look at my thread:

http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?290283-Problems-with-Parallels-Plesk-Panel-9-5-4-MU-30

plus it doesn't appear in the release notes:
http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk/PPP9/parallels-plesk-panel-9-linux-updates-release-notes.html

plus people are having problem with the corresponding MUs for plesk 10 and 11:
http://forum.parallels.com/showthre...up-of-mysql-database-quot-11-09-57-CentOS-6-4
http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?290341-Cannot-add-new-domain-after-upgrade-to-10-4-4-55

looks like they hurried out a patch because of some big security issue. plesk 9 is at end of life, there shouldn't be any patch anyway unless it's something big.

best you can do is check what the patch in your system from the rpm-logs or undo #MU30 somehow.
