  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Upgrade 9.5.4>10.4.4 fails - license key cannot be upgraded

Am trying to upgrade to 10.4.4 from 9.5.4 and get the following message:

Warning: your license key for the base component cannot be upgraded.
Response from the licensing server: This upgrade is not acceptable

It then warns:
Continuing with the upgrade without having an appropriate product license key will result in the installation of a default license key with limited functionality. Administrators are advised to first acquire the appropriate license key before continuing with the product upgrade.

Is this a known problem - my ISP tells me that I have the full necessary license key? Appreciate some help

(NOTE - with many reported problems with 10.4.4 - is it worth upgrading - or should I upgrade to lesser version such as 10.3.1?)

Thanks in advance

10.4.4 is better than the previous ones. But note that the license key for 9.x is not the same as the 10.x keys so you may need to get a new key from parallels or whomever you get your keys from.
