  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Upgrade fails from 12.0.18 #23 to 12.0.18 #28

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

we tried to upgrade Plesk from 12.0.18 Update #23 to 12.0.18 Update #28 but Plesk fails to update.

Here is the error output of the log file:

******************************
===> Upgrading database

Trying to start service mysqld... mysqld (pid 20108) is running...
done
Trying to establish test connection... connected
done
Trying to find psa database... version is 011005030
DATABASE ERROR!!!
Previous product version is 12.0.18, but previous database
version is 011005030. In most of cases it is result of
previous upgrade try failure. Please, restore previous version
from backup, and try again or contact technical support.
******************************

We forgot to do a manual backup before the last upgrade from 12.0.18 Update #6 to 12.0.18 Update #23, so there is no previous backup.

Somebody has an idea how to fix this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards

GD
