  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Upgrade from 11.5 to 12.5, CentOS 6

New Pleskian
I am inquiring about this upgrade now, wondering how safe this will be for my Plesk environment on CentOS 6.
My reason for upgrading is that I need MySQL 5.6 in order to run Magento, and my server is presently using MySQL 5.5.36. My Plesk environment has 40 client websites (mostly Joomla CMS) and many also using email via Qmail.

I am just concerned about breaking something since this is a crucial environment for my business. Can anyone shed any light on this upgrade, possible pitfalls, and any recommendations.

thanks
