  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Hello,

I actually have small business panel 10.2 and I would like to upgrade the Plesk Pannel 10.4. On Centos 5.7 X86 64
Then I read the documentation and :

Downloaded the file : parallels_installer_v3.11.0_build111102.17_os_CentOS_5_i386
Transfert by FTP on root/parallels
Execute this command : chmod +x parallels_products_installer_file_name
And this one : ./parallels_products_installer_file_name --web-interface

But this error is returned : error while loading shared libraries: libpam.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

How can I fix it ?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Did you tried the "update option" available in the Tools and settings tab of Plesk admin Panel ? . The error shows the lib file us missing or not able to find it on standard locations like /lib , /usr/lib and /usr/share/lib, So please check is the file exists, if not try to install it with specified package.

Thank you.

Hi and thanks for your reply,

The update option of the panel is empty : no update is possible by this way.
I did not found any file "libpam.so.0" in the standard places as lib/ etc...
So I must find this lib and install it before the upgrade ? That means the upgrade is not done for my version of pannel ?
I don't really understand...

Hi,

Thanks for your help. I found and downloaded parallels_installer_v3.11.0_build111102.17_os_CentOS_5_x86_64 which seems better for my server. But I see a ZIP file called pp10-centos-5-x86_64-ez.tar.gz to download with.
What is it ? I must also transfert it on the parallels dir with the installer ? Zip ou unzip before ?
I'm lost...Thanks for your help.

...Then I tryied to install this package, and I have to choose between :

1. [*] Parallels Small Business Panel
2. (*) Parallels Small Business Panel 10.2.0 (currently installed)

3. [ ] Sitebuilder 4.5 and earlier versions (for Plesk 9 and earlier)

4. [ ] SSO

Where is the 10.4 version I want to install ??? How I can upgrade from Small Business Pannel 10.2 to Parrallels Plesk Panel 10.4 ? Not possible ???
