• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi!

I tried upgrading today from Plesk panel 9.5.2 to 10.0.2 (Windows) version.
OS Server 2003.
Now when I click the icon on my desktop for the Plesk panel I get the following error.
I do not even get a login screen.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

start -> settings -> control panels -> Network Connections -> your connection -> Properties -> Internet protocol TCP-IP -> advanced -> DNS -> "append this dns's suffixes" and put your domain there

Happens that if the domain is not defined there or gotten from the dhcp will not work

Suggestion did not fix the problem

I tried your suggestions, but I still get the same errors.
Any other suggestions?
TIA

can I downgrade to 9.5.2

Can I downgrade to 9.5.2?

If so, do I just install 9.5.2 over the top of 10.0.1?

This is useless when you can not even login into Plesk after upgrading.
There should be a repair process by the time a product gets to version 10.x

I figured most of it out.
Had to change the database from MySQL to MSSQL using the Plesk Reconfigurator.
The Health Monitor does not work though because it says it can not find the configuration file.
