• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Upgrading firmware to the current version?

Guest
Why in the panel using the old software? And why not correct the mistakes and write the amendment as yourself fix it?

Sorry I don't understand there is no firmware other than your BIOS on the system board.

If your referring to packages (software) are you refering to plesk components or your system components?

For example php, mysql, httpd are system and nothing to do with plesk.

Can you clarify your question please?

I did not know php, mysql, httpd does not belong to Plesk .....

And please name some software does not apply to the panel?

okay basically in your case every single package on the server except for ones that start with:

psa-

example psa-watchdog

One question for you. Is your server package managed or unmanaged? If it's unmanaged who is maintaining your server? If your not able to do this you really need some friend to help you.

Linux may be more secure than windows, but not if your not updating to fix exploits and also just normal bug fixes of packages. Without these it is possible yoiur server gets fully compromised.
