Evidently in my original question I should have mentioned that I'm on Centos 6.10. Can I even *have* MariaDB on Centos 6 or would I have to have Centos 7?
Is there a way to upgrade from Centos 6 to Centos 7? (Evidently Centos 7 comes with MariaDB built in)
Yes... but, within the comments on the Plesk article that is linked within that thread... user @ Stefan DOES ask the same question as you have (below) It is answered by Plesk but the answer is not currenty viewable
