  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Urgent Help!

Hi, I have my Plesk server running several domains, all of which use PHP and a captcha form to send mail.
We host the DNS on a seperate server and the mail on a separate server again.

For some reason this morning, none of this mail is going anywhere when submitted from the PHP form. it would previously appear on our mail server but now I can see it queing up on the Plesk mail queue. I think it is trying to deliver it locally to each domain, but cant be sure.

I can send to external addresses like GMAIL, HOTMAIL, etc with no problems at all, so it seems to be something that I've changed on Plesk and not realized...

For the record I have DNS and mail Turned OFF in Plesk at the server and domain level which has worked perfectly up until now.

I really need these forms to work ASAP - can anyone suggest how I can find what is wrong or another way to force Plesk to send everything via our mail server.

can anyone help!?!

Actually never mind - I figured it out, somehow the DNS setting for the whole server had got messed up - all working now ! :)
