Using Proftpd FTP Login error

Actually i am installed Plesk v8.2 Linux Fedora 6. All works fine but i have problems in log into ftp client or even in any browser. I gave the hostname,username,password & port number 21 in gftp client, i can't login the error message is following :-



Looking up 192.168.1.229
Trying 192.168.1.229:21
Connected to 192.168.1.229:21
Disconnecting from site 192.168.1.229
Waiting 30 seconds until trying to connect again
Looking up 192.168.1.229
Trying 192.168.1.229:21
Connected to 192.168.1.229:21
Disconnecting from site 192.168.1.229

any other than above gftp client Or any ftp client, we can't able to login, So please kindly help to solve this issue as soon as possible.

Have you enabled FTP and HTTP, and other access in the firewall?

- make sure ftp is running
- make sure your firewall is not blocking access (disable for testing)
- disable psa firewall if used
- make sure your Ip is not blocked
