  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Viewing one domain through it´s ip?

Hello,

I´m moving from servers and need to test one domain before altering the dns.

So, is there any form of viewing one domain in a plesk installation without altering the dns?

I´ve assigned the target domain an exclusive ip, but I´m unnable to see nothing more than the plesk default page.

Any idea? Thanks in advance.

you should be able to see all the domains on the new server by setting your computer's "DNS Servers" to the new server's IP address.

Edit: Of course, the rest of the internet won't work until you delete it (or put back the old DNS Servers).

Edit2: you could also go into the server > ip address. Then find the IP address you're wanting to use. Click on the number under the hosting column, then select the domain you want, and "set as default"

You should be able to view the domain in the Plesk control panel by using the "Site Preview" icon.
