• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Websites lost with upgrade

sebas

Basic Pleskian
Parallels Plesk Control panel 10.4.2
RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.1 x86_64

Upgraded from 10.4.1 to 10.4.2 and now all the websites lost their configuration.

When ever you try to browse one you end up with the default redhat test page.

They were working with 10.4.1.

Panel is working.

Do you mean 10.4 Preview version? But according to http://www.parallels.com/download/plesk10.4/
IMPORTANT: This is a preview version of the upcoming Parallels Plesk Panel 10.4 release.

Because it may be subject to bugs and instability issues, you shall not use it for production purposes. Upgrade from this preview version will not be supported by further versions.

That means that when the production ready version of 10.4 is out I'm not going to be able to update my preview version to it?

The download page specifically says it won't be supported. This is very reasonable as each preview version can be very different, with potentially many changes under the hood. To enable upgrade from preview to release, the devs would have to somehow support updates from every single preview version (and one is being released almost every week, so there would be a lot of them to support), and this would not really be sensible. This is also why preview to preview upgrades are not specifically supported. Some may work, of course.
