webuser@domain.com not accessible ??

I've created a webuser , checked enable webuser@domain.com in preferences , ftp'ed a file called index.html in webuser dir , but webuser@domain.com is not accesible.
I've restarted apache , checked that the file at_domains_index.html exists (it does) , but still not accessible.
I get invalid syntax error in title of html doc.
