• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

webusers "php support" grayed out

michaellunsford

Regular Pleskian
the man says I can enable php support for webusers, however, the webuser dialogue has all of the checkboxes grayed out.

Apache ASP support
SSI support
PHP support
CGI support
mod_perl support
mod_python support

all of 'em. How do I turn them on if I can't check them?

EDIT: yes, PHP is turned on for the domain.

This is really just a list of what is turned on for the webuser. It takes the settings from what is turned on in the domain. You should be able to use any of them that are listed.

Apache ASP support
SSI support
PHP support
CGI support
mod_perl support
mod_python support

I want to enable PHP for the web user, however, the option is disabled. It's already turned on for the domain, so how do I turn it on for a user?

Press the webuser button

Says: Web users of domain XXXX.com
You will see two buttons:
Add Webuser
Preferences

Press Preferences and check the boxt that says:
Allow the web users scripting

Go in and check the boxes in the webuser that you want, ie: php, cgi, etc.

Done
