• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

What do they work in Plesk for Linux Crontab Job?

According to Plesk for Linux Can't be named like Windows because Crontab did't support.

Hello,

Please note that during installation of Plesk the following tasks are automatically created:

* autoreport.php – delivers daily, weekly and monthly reports on clients and domains (three separate tasks)
* backupmng – initiates scheduled backing up of domains once every 30 minutes
* statistics – generates statistics on the limits imposed on domains, such as traffic, disk usage, and so on
* mysqldump.sh - creates a backup copy of three MySQL databases: psadump, MySQL, and Horde databases

As all these tasks are related to domain statistics, databases and reports, it is strongly recommended that you neither change nor remove these tasks.

Personally I removed all of those - I dont use the backup manager and watchdog isnt installed becuase it sucks and is not as intelligent as I would hope.

So it can be done to just remove them if thats what your asking.
