  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

What does FTP have to do with PHP?

Regular Pleskian
Hi all.

I upgraded PHP to version 5 and I had to configure each domain to use ISAPI PHP in IIS so that it worked.

Now, when a user changes they ftp password surprisingly they IIS configuration changes PHP-ISAPI to PHP-CGI and php pages stop working.

Any idea of what's going on?

Thanks!

Jorge.

Plesk rewrites your custom settings in IIS after any domain changes are applied via Control Panel.

Is there any way to force Plesk to use isapi instead of cgi in php??
Sure, there is option "run as ISAPI" on domain "Hosting Setup" page
