• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

fqhn (fully qualified host name) fqdn (fully qualified domain name)
box.domain.tld

for example, one of mine is named "sh1.hybrid-hosting.com"

Hi, yes sh1 is simply the "name" i gave the box, and if you want to access the box by that name you will want to create a dns record for it.
Or maybe a better example is if you wanted to get to the system via http://sh1.hybrid-hosting.com you would need to create a host record for it...
