• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question When to expect PostgreSQL 9.6 Support?

Organizer

New Pleskian
I'm planning to try out Onyx soon, though I had hoped to see some love for PostgreSQL 9.6 as it was a fairly big milestone functionality wise (with new full text search capabilities) and it's been out a long time now. Does Onyx support 9.6 out of the box and if not when do you plan to update your support for this version of the database.

Thanks for your time.

As you can see here https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/software-requirements/#s4-2-1 PostgreSQL 9.5 is supported.
Often 'supported' means only 'tested'. If there are no any global/serious changes in PostgreSQL 9.6 - most probably it will work fine with Plesk Onyx.
You can just install trial Plesk Onyx for performing necessary tests how it works with PostgreSQL 9.6 and then share your results here.
