• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Where is the admin email address stored?

mlgunner

New Pleskian
I need to change the email address for the admin user. For some reason I cant do it from the Account -> Personal Data area in plesk because it gives me this error

"Unable to update admin's email. ch_admin_email: /usr/lib64/plesk-9.0/ch_admin_email_httpd execution failed:
ch_admin_email: Cannot change admin email for client apache.
"

It does change all of the admin emails in the qmail and httpd configuration files, however it does not change it in the GUI and still send emails to the old email address about admin changes. This is unacceptable as this email is still used by someone who is not the admin. There is no (obvious) cli command to change this, you seem to allow everything about the admin user change except the email address.

Tell me where this is and how to fix this please, someone? This is urgent!

It is 64 bit CentOS 5.6 running the 64bit 9.3 Plesk, upgraded from 9.1
